Mt. Horeb, WI Family Seeking a Part Time Nanny Position Overview A warm and welcoming family in Mt. Horeb is searching for a caring, dependable, and engaging part time nanny to care for their sweet toddler beginning in mid September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny who enjoys creating fun, educational days filled with play, learning, and meaningful interaction. The family hopes to find someone who will become a trusted part of their lives while providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for their daughter. The ideal candidate is active, reliable, and enjoys encouraging early childhood development through age appropriate activities. If you love helping toddlers learn while having fun, this could be the perfect position for you. Compensation and Benefits $25 to $28+ per hour Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid personal days Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm About the Child This happy and outgoing toddler girl loves meeting new people and has a bright, social personality. Her parents would love a nanny who can incorporate early learning throughout the day by practicing ABCs, numbers, colors, and other foundational concepts through fun and engaging activities. She enjoys macaroni and cheese, while her family encourages a balanced diet with minimal processed foods and added sugar. She naps daily from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, is making great progress with potty training, and has excellent speech for her age. She has no known allergies or health concerns. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care throughout the day Plan engaging activities that encourage learning and development Assist with children's meal preparation and laundry Help maintain a consistent daily routine Transport the child to occasional activities using your own reliable vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided Keep child-related spaces organized and tidy Home Environment Most of the time, both parents work outside of the home, although one or both parents may occasionally work remotely. The family also has two friendly Great Danes and one Bulldog. While they are typically kept in separate rooms during the day, the nanny should be comfortable around large dogs. Ideal Candidate The family is looking for a nurturing, energetic, and dependable nanny who enjoys working with toddlers and understands the importance of balancing learning with play. They would love someone who is proactive, organized, and excited to become a positive and consistent presence in their daughter's life.
