Job Description

Overview Join our family as a Respite Care Child Specialist, dedicated to providing compassionate, engaging, and supportive care to child with and the Autism spectrum, verbal, no behaviors, in his home. This is a 1:1 position, no agency! Schedule
  • M•8am to 12pm Tu•430pm to 9pm W-Th•Off F•Flexible, 430pm to 9pm Sat-Sun•Flexible, 10am to 3pm Responsibilities Provide attentive, personalized care to child on the Autism spectrum.
Ability to attend weekends get-a-ways with family as needed
  • Room and board covered
  • TBD Engage child in age-appropriate activities
  • legos, fishing, dirt bike, country setting living!
Assist with daily routines, toileting, changes Maintain open communication with family regarding their child's progress and any concerns that arise Support children during outings or recreational activities while adhering to safety protocols Transport child to and from activities, away from the home Qualifications Prior experience in, daycare, or teaching roles preferred Hands on experience working with children on the spectrum
  • Required Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in caregiving or child development is a plus CNA certified
  • higly preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other team members Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a positive environment for children during the summer months Must be trustworthy and maintain families privacy

$18.00 per hour
