Position Overview:

Olive Branch Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and Christ-centered Part-Time Youth Director to lead and disciple middle and high school students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about student ministry, building relationships, and sharing the Gospel in a small-town Baptist church setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead weekly youth services, Bible studies, and discipleship opportunities Teach biblically sound lessons aligned with Baptist doctrine and values Build strong, mentoring relationships with youth and encourage spiritual growth Organize youth events such as retreats, camps, mission projects, and fellowships Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist with youth ministry Communicate effectively with parents, church leadership, and the congregation Encourage youth participation in worship services and church activities Maintain a safe, welcoming, and spiritually encouraging environment

Qualifications:

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear testimony of faith Agreement with Baptist beliefs and willingness to uphold church doctrine Experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to connect with students and serve as a positive role model Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in youth ministry leadership Ability to lead or assist with music/worship (a plus, not required) Familiarity with social media and communication tools
