Job Description

Youth Director Job Description Tates Chapel Baptist Church is seeking a caring, Christ centered leader to guide our students in grades 7-12 in continued growth with their relationship with Christ. This is a great opportunity to build a Student Ministry from the ground up with the current students and leaders. Tates Chapel is a loving church that is committed to supporting our leaders. Having the support of the church you will have the opportunity to use your creativity to reach new students and their families.
What you will do:
  • Build relationships with students in the church and those in our community.
  • Plan and lead weekly Bible studies, special events, retreats, and mission projects.
  • Work with other church leaders, volunteers, and other ministries of TCBC to accomplish the church's mission of reaching people for Christ.
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and counseling to students.
  • Handle ministry planning, budget, schedule, and communication for overall student ministry.
  • At least monthly meet with Pastor for prayer and encouragement What we desire in our next
Student Leader:
  • A born again believer with a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ that reflects biblical character and integrity.
  • A heart for students and a passion for sharing the gospel.
  • Ability to plan and organize events, lead teams, and work with others.
  • Agreement with the Southern Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
