Overview:
The Student Ministries Pastor is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of both High School and Middle School for Cornerstone Fellowships' Brentwood campus. The Student Ministries Pastor leads and equips a team of gifted volunteers as well as engages students to pursue Christ with wholehearted passion. Ministry leadership includes organizing and leading services and events including weekend services, all in line with Cornerstone Fellowships' mission, vision, values, and beliefs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pastoral Authorized to perform sacerdotal functions: a. Baptism b. Communion c. Weddings d. Funerals e. Prayers for those in need Ministry Leadership & Development Collaborate regularly with the Area Pastor for training, feedback, evaluation, and vision alignment. Recruit, train, and equip volunteer leaders. Foster healthy team dynamics and develop volunteer spiritual gifts and leadership capacity. Create opportunities for spiritual growth and leadership development for youth and volunteers. Actively engage with youth and parents to build strong relationships and trust. Oversee youth ministry budget and partner with Central, HR, and Finance teams as needed. Plan and lead youth services, midweek gatherings, retreats, and special events. Facilitate team-building opportunities throughout the year
  • Communication & Teaching Cast clear and compelling vision for youth discipleship.
Communicate strategy, programming, and event details effectively to youth, parents, volunteers, and staff. Teach God's Word with passion and clarity in both large-group and one-on-one settings. Utilize digital platforms and social media to engage the youth community effectively.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates an active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Displays Christ-like character, humility, integrity, and compassion. Grace-oriented with a shepherd's heart. Regular attendee of Cornerstone Fellowship. Strong pastoral gifting and theological grounding. Proven ability to equip and develop ministry leaders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (public speaking and 1:1 ministry). Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and social media platforms. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay:
$31,500.00 per year
