SUMMIT CHURCH
Lincoln, California Worship & Media Arts Pastor / Director Full-Time or Part-Time | Based on Experience & Qualifications WHO WE ARE... Summit Church has been a part of the Lincoln community for over 30 years. As Lincoln continues to grow into one of the most vibrant cities in the Sacramento region, we are being re-introduced to our city — and we are more excited than ever. Our mission is simple and bold: to live, help, and love like Jesus. We believe worship is more than music — it is a gateway that invites people into a more personal encounter and connection with God. We are looking for someone who shares that conviction and wants to build something meaningful with us. THE OPPORTUNITY... This is a special and rewarding opportunity for a gifted worshiper and creative leader to shape the full Sunday experience at Summit Church. As our Worship & Media Arts Pastor/Director, you will lead a team of over 30 dedicated volunteers, oversee all audio/visual and media production, and pastor people toward greater intimacy with God — all in one role. Whether this is a full-time or part-time position will be shaped around you — your experience, your availability, and what you bring to the table. We want the right person, and we are willing to build the role to fit.
WHAT YOU WILL
DO... Prepare & Lead Worship Services Craft weekly services in ProPresenter — including song lyrics, message notes, announcement slides, lighting cues, and video countdowns. Create videos and graphical content using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Plan and lead an engaging, Jesus-centered weekly gathering that moves people toward honoring God with excellence and authenticity. Lead & Develop the Worship Team Recruit, audition, train, and pastor volunteer musicians and vocalists. Lead Sunday morning rehearsals with both excellence and empathy. Shepherd team members through personal challenges and disciple both worship and production teams toward greater spiritual maturity. Cultivate a team culture that is spiritually life-giving, relationally healthy, and creatively excellent. Lead Tech & Production Partner with the Tech Director and camera switcher (producer) to ensure sound, lighting, and media create an appropriate atmosphere for worship. Oversee all audio/visual elements of the Sunday service — audio, video, lighting, and ProPresenter. Set up and manage lighting cues using Daslight 5. Operate and direct Canon camera systems (C200, C100, EOS R). Media Creation & Administration Edit sermon videos and sermon shorts for the church's social media platforms. Design YouTube thumbnails and other graphics using Photoshop and/or Canva. Maintain Elvanto (service management platform), coordinate monthly schedules for the Worship & Media team, and keep the team informed on direction and upcoming events. Create chord charts and manage music resources for the team.
WHAT YOU
BRING... We are looking for someone who checks most of these boxes — and is humble and hungry to grow in the rest: Worship & Music Proficiency in leading worship while playing an instrument. Ability to lead with in-ear monitors and backing tracks. Solid working knowledge of music theory. Strong communication skills for giving clear musical and production direction. Ability to create chord charts in Elvanto, Planning Center, or an equivalent platform. Production & Media Proficiency with the current version of ProPresenter. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or equivalent video editing software. Competency with Adobe Audition, Audacity, or another audio editing program. Competency in designing graphics and thumbnails using Photoshop and/or Canva. Experience working with Canon camera systems. Experience setting up and programming lighting cues (Daslight 5 or similar). Basic
CSS/HTML
knowledge is a helpful bonus — but not required. WHO YOU ARE... You love Jesus and are deeply committed to personal spiritual growth. You are a pastor at heart — not just a musician or technician. You care about people. You lead with humility, inviting collaboration and sharing the spotlight. You bring energy and vision, while remaining flexible and team-oriented. You are organized, reliable, and take initiative without needing to be micromanaged. You thrive in a creative environment and bring fresh ideas while honoring what is working. Compensation & Commitment This position is open to full-time or part-time arrangements. Hours, compensation, and structure will be tailored to the experience, education, and qualifications of the right candidate. We are committed to building something that works well for the right person and the mission of Summit Church. Ready to Join Us? If this sounds like you — or like who you are becoming — we would love to hear your story. Please send your resume, a brief cover letter sharing your heart for worship ministry, and any relevant links (recordings, social media, portfolio) to: Shelbie.

OUR MISSION
Jesus said that He came to Earth so that we could have life in its "fullest possible way." (John 10:10) Wow! We can't think of a better mission for Summit Church than helping you discover your highest purpose and your best life in Christ! Simply said, discovering and living God's highest and best for our lives is the driving force behind everything we do. If you haven't already, we hope that you'll try us out soon and experience for yourself the friendly, welcoming and authentic community of people who gather each week to connect with God and with each other.
YOUR STORY
You have purpose in life—an original story that God has written for you to tell. We want to help you live God's highest purpose for your life. Summit is a safe place to take the next step in discovering and experiencing the next big chapter in your story. By connecting regularly with others through small groups and our weekend services; worshipping together; using your gifts to serve others; and giving to something bigger than yourself, you can't help but to keep moving forward in your journey.
YOUR FAMILY
We are all part of a family in one way or the other. So, we believe in relevantly and practically partnering with you, your spouse, your children and your teens to help create and strengthen strong foundations for healthy and thriving families. Summit Kids (our ministry to infants thru 5th grade) and Vertical (our midweek service for middle and high school students) are two great places to keep your family connected and growing.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Colossians 3:23 says, "In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people." That's why—starting with our leaders—we advance a culture of being real, being loving and being at our best. Our leadership team serves the church by shaping and directing the vision and ministries that help you and others live their highest purpose and best life in marriage, parenting, friendships, work-life, finances, emotional health, physical health, spiritual health and every other thing that matters in our lives.
