Responsibilities Lead the planning, rehearsing, and execution of the weekly Sunday morning worship service, ensuring a seamless flow that encourages congregation participation. Recruit, develop, mentor, and schedule musicians, vocalists, and technical team members to enhance their skills and spiritual growth. Collaborate with pastor(s) and ministry leaders to align worship themes with sermon series and church events. Oversee the selection of songs, arrangements, and multimedia elements. Understands (or is willing to learn) the Christian liturgical calendar and worship liturgy within the framework of the Reformed tradition. Communicate effectively with staff and volunteers to coordinate schedules and training sessions that support the overall worship experience. Collaborative worship planning with pastor, worship team, and volunteers Requirements Within scope of job, requires musical understanding and/or ability, organizational skills, creativity, technological skills or desire/ability to learn, the ability to work collaboratively, to lead, serve, and be a part of a team (with fellow staff and worship volunteers/musicians), the ability to work with minimal supervision.
