Job Description The Youth Minister and Events Coordinator should be community-minded, passionate about serving a congregation, and committed to being an active member of the community. The Youth Minister should have a deep curiosity about the spiritual development of youth and a desire to shepherd youth on their faith journey. The Youth Minister is supervised by the Canon for Parish Life, and collaborates closely with him and the Children & Families Minister. As Event Coordinator, this person should be ready to collaborate and be a creative thinking partner with clergy and staff as we expand and strengthen our programs at the cathedral. The Events Coordinator works to strengthen our culture of hospitality through personal presence and example. The Events Coordinator also works with the Canon for Parish Life to coordinate logistics for small group events; e.g., 20s & 30s & the 60+ groups. The Events Coordinator serves as the primary administrator and liaison assisting with major events such as Saint John's Day, Cathedral Nights, Retreats, and similar events. This is a full-time, salaried position with generous benefits. Starting pay will be between $55,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience. Click here for full job description.
