Job Summary and Qualifications ​ ​ This position supports the mission of HCA Healthone Sky Ridge by optimizing the quality of life of all those served by caring for the needs of the whole person . Works with other members of the pastoral/spiritual care department to provide multi-faith pastoral support to patients, their families and hospital staff, while integrating this service within overall hospital functions . Exhibits a strong spiritual identity to function capably and ecumenically in an interdisciplinary setting, providing spiritual care suited to the receiver's spirituality . Understands diverse theological perspectives, religious traditions and multi-faith perspectives . ​ ​ ​ ​ ​  ​ Administers, organizes, develops, plans, and supports pastoral care program and services at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge. Serves as pastoral care specialist to patients, families and staff. Organizes, supports and develops pastoral care services at Sky Ridge that includes the Chaplain Volunteers and Staff/On-Call Chaplains . ​ ​ ​  ​ ​ ​  ​ Participates in multi-disciplinary committees including the hospital Ethics Committee, Mortality Review Committee. ​ ​ ​  ​ Collaborates and assists in the development and implementation of S ky Ridge goals and mission. Collaborates in decision-making structures and processes. Embraces and consistently models S ky Ridge I-care values encompassing both patients and employees. ​
Education & Experience:
  • ​ ​ Bachelor's degree ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Required ​
  • ​ ​ Master's degree ​ Divinity from recognized, accredited seminary or divinity school; or equivalent if Board Certified Chaplain ​ ​ Required ​
  • ​ ​ 3+ years of experience in ​ ​ ​ Required ​ O r equivalent combination of education and/or experience
