Job Description Christ Church is a welcoming parish located on the Roxbury town green in rural Litchfield County Connecticut. Established in 1740, the church is part of the historic center of town. Our parish enjoys traditional liturgy and music but would like to explore new ways to enhance our worship and reach the community at large. We connect to the greater community through worship, public events, a monthly healing service at the local senior housing complex and the Food Pantry administered and managed by our parish. We seek a half-time Priest in Charge who: Can guide us to grow into the life and church that God has in store for us. Can tie scripture to everyday life. Has a welcoming, caring pastoral style. Can collaborate well with the lay ministries, music minister, staff and vestry, encouraging teamwork with patience and humor. Would enjoy connecting to the Roxbury community. Has knowledge and skills to communicate and function in today's electronic world. Sharing clergy may be considered. Type of Commitment Half Time Does this job pay? Yes
