$45,000 annually + Health Insurance Provided Position Overview Above and Beyond Community Church is seeking a passionate, relational, and spiritually grounded Youth Pastor to lead and grow our middle school and high school ministries. This individual will disciple students, build strong relationships with families, and create an engaging environment where young people can grow in their faith and understanding of God. Primary Responsibilities Spiritual Leadership Maintain a strong, growing personal relationship with God as the foundation of ministry Teach and model Biblical truth in a way that is engaging and applicable to students Lead students toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ Plan and lead a weekly youth service (midweek/night service) Teach or oversee Sunday school classes for middle and high school students Develop and implement discipleship strategies for spiritual growth Organize events, outreach opportunities, and activities for youth engagement Build meaningful relationships with students through consistent presence and involvement Connect with and support parents/guardians as partners in discipleship Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and guidance to students Leadership Development Recruit, train, and lead youth volunteers and leaders Raise up student leaders within the ministry Campus Ministry Opportunity Participate in and help grow outreach opportunities connected with Florida Atlantic University campus ministry Build bridges between youth ministry and young adult/campus ministry environments Biblical Priorities (Personal Life Order) We believe healthy ministry flows from healthy priorities. The Youth Pastor is expected to maintain the following order: 1.Relationship with God 2.Spouse (if married) 3.Family/children (if applicable) 4.Ministry Qualifications A clear and growing relationship with Jesus Christ A calling to student ministry Strong communication and teaching ability Relational, approachable, and able to connect with both students and parents Leadership and organizational skills Experience in youth ministry (preferred but not required) Willingness to align with the vision and beliefs of Above and Beyond Community Church What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely loves students and wants to invest in their lives A self-starter who can build and grow a ministry A team player who works well with church leadership A leader excited about both church-based youth ministry and campus outreach opportunities Compensation & Benefits Full-time salaried position ($45,000/year) Health insurance provide
