Youth Pastor Englewood, FL 34223 $1,600 a month - Part-time $1,600 a month - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to inspire and guide young members of our Christian community. This vital role involves nurturing the spiritual growth of youth, fostering a welcoming environment for their development, and leading engaging programs that encourage faith, leadership, and community involvement. The Youth Pastor will serve as a compassionate mentor, a skilled communicator, and a dynamic leader committed to empowering youth through faith-based teachings and supportive relationships. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people while working within a vibrant nonprofit Christian organization. Duties Develop and implement engaging youth programs that promote spiritual growth, leadership, and community service. Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to youth, including offering support during personal challenges or crises. Plan and coordinate youth events, retreats, outreach activities, and service projects that foster fellowship and faith development. Facilitate religious studies classes, teaching biblical principles, Christian doctrines, and values tailored to different age groups. Collaborate with church staff, volunteers, and community partners to expand youth engagement initiatives. Lead fundraising efforts to support youth programs and outreach activities, ensuring sustainability and growth of services offered. Skills Proven experience in youth engagement within pastoral or religious settings; teaching religious studies preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people. Excellent communication skills for effective teaching, mentoring, and public speaking. Experience in event planning for youth activities, retreats, or outreach events. Knowledge of social work principles related to working with children and adolescents facing various challenges.
