Job Description

Position:
Worship Pastor / Director (Tyrone / Central Campus)
Reports To:
Tyler Crosson, Lead Pastor Status:
Full-Time Position /
Salary Exempt Work Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday. (Occasional Friday/Saturday and evenings as needed)
Pay Range:
$60,000-75,000 annually, based on experience
Position Summary:
The Worship Pastor / Director will collaborate with the Lead Pastor and Production Pastor to cast the vision and direction for worship experiences and environments for the church. They lead, steward, and help execute the Worship Ministry. They develop leaders to lead and execute the Worship culture, expectations, and standards set forth to accomplish the mission of BridgePoint Church. As a Pastor / Director of the church, they function to shepherd, encourage relational and spiritual growth, and care for attendees, volunteers, and staff. They are involved in helping determine the overall strategy of the church with the pastors and directors. This role includes participation in the spiritual life and discipleship culture of BridgePoint Church as part of the employee s overall responsibilities .
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Secondary supervision of campus worship leads, in collaboration with Campus Pastors as primary supervisors
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Leads the strategy for worship in fulfilling the mission of BridgePoint, in alignment with the values and in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and Campus Pastors Demonstrates a commitment to designing cohesive worship experiences that support discipleship, aligning music, message, and all service elements to help people get closer to God Sets and leads standards and expectations for worship, in partnership with the Pastors and Directors, to cultivate a consistent and unified worship culture across the church Sets and provides a reproducible strategy to recruit, develop, and care for worship team staff and volunteers while ensuring connection and engagement with the whole church Oversees the Sunday services planning process in collaboration with the teaching team and Lead Pastor Primary Tyrone Campus Worship Leader for Sunday services, BPYTH, and special events Facilitate and manage worship-related requirements for ministry activities held at the Tyrone Campus and churchwide conferences and special events Ensures all worship services across campuses are fully prepared, rehearsed, and executed with a high standard of excellence, including all technical and musical elements (e.g., Playback, staging) Partners with the Production Pastor and production team to create cohesive worship experiences Collaborates on strategies and opportunities to create or add worship experiences beyond Sundays (worship nights, nextgen, etc.) Oversees the worship budget and resources necessary to lead worship across campuses, including the contractor budget for band and vocalists Performs other related duties as assigned The ideal candidate is: A follower of Jesus and professes Him as their Lord and Savior Highly called, passionate about helping people grow closer to God High character, prioritizing integrity and personal values over tasks Flexible team player, fostering a drama-free, high-capacity environment Cares for people and teams and advocates BridgePoint s culture Commits to actively participate in the life of BridgePoint Church as a member, embodying the culture and vision of the organization
Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor s degree in music, religious studies, or a related field preferred (extensive ministry experience may be considered as a substitute) 6+ years of experience leading worship and leading teams Demonstrated proficiency in playing a primary musical instrument (e.g., keys, guitar) in a live worship setting required Demonstrates competency with worship playback systems (e.g., Playback by MultiTracks, Ableton) Effectiveness in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills under pressure
Physical Requirements:
