SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL
Job Description Christ the King Episcopal Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, is seeking a Christ-centered rector to lead our parish into its next season of faithful ministry. Christ the King is a traditional Episcopal parish with a warm, welcoming spirit, grounded in the Book of Common Prayer, reverent worship, meaningful relationships, and a shared desire to follow Christ faithfully in our community. We are a healthy, stable, and spiritually vital congregation with both year-round and seasonal members, a beautiful wooded campus, strong outreach partnerships, an active Tree House Montessori School, and a growing music ministry that is becoming an important part of worship and community engagement. We seek an experienced priest who will lead worship faithfully, preach with theological depth and clarity, deepen pastoral care, and serve as a visible, approachable, and engaged leader. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in parish leadership, administration, staff supervision, strategic planning, and collaboration with Vestry and lay leaders. Our next rector should be able to build upon a strong foundation while helping us grow in ways that are sustainable, grounded in prayer, and rooted in relationships. We seek a leader who will guide thoughtful change, strengthen community, develop lay leadership, support children, youth, and families, and help us live more fully into service, hospitality, and witness in Christ's name.
