Job Description
Compensation:
$18 - $24 / hour (based on experience)Location:
Atlanta, GA (West Midtown) Reports to:Service Manager and General Manager Schedule:
Full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays About Bold Monk Bold Monk Brewing Co. is one of Atlanta's most distinctive dining destinations — a European-inspired brewpub on the Westside where Belgian brewing tradition meets refined hospitality. We brew on-site, cook with intention, and host everything from quiet weeknight dinners to rehearsal dinners, brand activations, and full buyouts in our private event spaces. We're part of Brewed To Serve Restaurant Group, alongside Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery and White Oak. We believe hospitality is a craft. We invest in the people who practice it. The Opportunity We're looking for a Front of House Supervisor to anchor the front of house alongside our General Manager and Service Manager. This is a real career step for a high-performing server, captain, or lead ready to move into professional management — a "ground floor" role inside an established, growth-oriented restaurant group where the next rung is visible and the people above you got there the same way. You'll run the floor on your shifts, close the building, and lead service for our private events program. You'll learn the business side of hospitality from operators who teach it.The Ideal Candidate Experience:
2+ years in a high-volume, polished casual environment. You know the dance of a busy floor and the nuances of refined service. The Thirst:
You don't want a job — you want a career. You're eager to learn labor management, COGS, scheduling, guest recovery, and the operational layer beneath great service.Palate & Passion:
Working knowledge of spirits and wine, and a genuine interest in craft beer culture — Belgian styles, local lagers, seasonal ales.Leadership:
You lead by example. You coach in the moment. You have the hospitality heart to turn a guest's night around without being asked.Composure:
You hold the floor when it's slammed and you hold the building when you're the last one in it. What You'll Do Lead the Floor Run service on high-volume shifts alongside the GM and Service Manager and ensure standards are met on every table. Coach servers, bartenders, and support staff in the moment. Own guest recovery — turn problems into loyalty before they reach the GM. Close the Building Serve as closing manager on assigned nights: lead end-of-shift breakdown, oversee server checkouts, manage cash handling and deposits, complete end-of-night reports, secure the building. Communicate the night's wins, issues, and follow-ups to the GM and Service Manager. Lead Private Events Serve as floor lead on private events, rehearsal dinners, buyouts, and brand activations — partnering with our Sales & Events team to deliver flawless execution. Brief and direct event staff, manage timing with the kitchen, and serve as the host's primary point of contact during service. Support the Management Team Assist the General Manager and Service Manager with scheduling input, inventory counts, and daily administrative work. Act as a brand ambassador — educate staff and guests on our culinary program, beer lineup, and the Bold Monk story. Build the Culture Foster a team environment grounded in excellence, growth, and mutual respect. Be the manager you'd want to work for.
