Anglican Chaplain - HMP BronzefieldWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Anglican Chaplain to join the Chaplaincy team at HMP Bronzefield.

In this role, you will provide pastoral care and faith-specific support to prisoners and staff within a multi-faith environment.

You will play a key role in supporting rehabilitation, promoting spiritual wellbeing, and contributing to a respectful and inclusive prison community.

For more information on Sodexo Careers please visit Sodexo CareersMain ResponsibilitiesProvide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to prisoners, staff, and their families, regardless of faith background.

Plan, lead, and facilitate Anglican worship, prayer services, and faith-based programmes.

Work collaboratively within a multi-faith Chaplaincy team to deliver inclusive services.

Support prisoners in crisis situations and contribute to their rehabilitation and personal development.

Build relationships with Church of England groups and local community networks to support resettlement.

Maintain accurate records, contribute to reports, and support service delivery standards and chaplaincy initiatives.

Please see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirementsThe Ideal CandidateOrdained or authorised Anglican Chaplain with formal endorsement from the Prison Service Anglican Adviser.

Strong understanding of Christian faith and the ability to lead worship and engage diverse groups.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgemental approach.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Experience (or strong interest) in working with vulnerable individuals or complex-needs communities.

Well-organised with strong administrative, IT, and problem-solving skills.
