Position Overview The Youth & Young Adults Pastor leads the next generation at Generations Church by building dynamic, Christ-centered ministries for middle school, high school, and young adults. This role is responsible for creating engaging environments, developing leaders, and building clear discipleship pathways that help students and young adults grow in their faith and stay connected to the local church long-term. Key Responsibilities Lead Youth Ministry (6th-12th Grade) Create and lead weekly youth gatherings that are engaging, fun, and spiritually impactful Teach Biblical truth in a way that connects with students Build environments that foster worship, community, and spiritual growth Develop Young Adults Ministry Build and lead a growing young adults ministry through gatherings, groups, and events Create clear next steps for students transitioning out of youth ministry Foster authentic community and discipleship among college students and young adults Develop Leaders & Teams Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers (G-Team) Invest in leaders relationally and spiritually to build a healthy ministry culture Provide vision, direction, and support for all team members Disciple the Next Generation Create pathways for salvation, baptism, and spiritual growth Build relationships with students, young adults, and families Partner with parents and leaders to support long-term discipleship Engage the Community Build connections with local schools and the surrounding community Develop camps, retreats, and events that serve as easy invite opportunities Who We re Looking For A passionate follower of Jesus with a heart for the next generation A strong communicator who connects with both students and young adults A relational leader who builds teams and develops leaders A self-starter who can build, grow, and sustain healthy ministries Someone aligned with the vision and values of Generations Church Why This Role Matters We believe the next generation is not the future of the church, they are the church.
