To provide biblical guidance and counseling to students and their families and to keep confidential such communications except where disclosure is required by law or for the protection of individuals. To plan, organize, and lead youth worship services, Bible studies, discipleship groups, Vacation Bible School, retreats, mission opportunities, camps, and fellowship events. To encourage youth participation in the overall life and ministry of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, including worship services, missions, outreach, and service opportunities. To recruit, train, equip, and encourage volunteer youth leaders and workers. To work with church committees, organizations, and leadership in developing and implementing programs that support the spiritual growth of students. To maintain communication with parents and guardians concerning youth ministry activities, expectations, and opportunities. To visit students and their families as appropriate and maintain meaningful contact with the youth membership as a whole. Maintain regular contact with local schools, attend student activities when possible, and develop a strategy for reaching unchurched youth in the community.
To assist the Senior Pastor with preaching and teaching as needed. To help with other office related matters including but not limited to bulletin information, weekly church-wide email, ect.

To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to youth and their families with the goal of reaching students for Christ and fostering academic, emotional, social, and spiritual growth.
