About River Hills Church River Hills Church is a growing, missions-minded, and relational church located in Winder, Georgia. Founded 19 years ago by our lead pastor, the church has a strong commitment to expository preaching, authentic community, and Gospel-centered discipleship. We exist to bring truth and people together—helping individuals and families find faith, freedom, and family in Jesus. We are passionate about developing leaders, investing in the next generation, and creating environments where people can take meaningful next steps in their walk with Christ. Our church is actively engaged in both local outreach and global missions, with a heart to see lives transformed by the Gospel. We are seeking a full-time Student Pastor who will lead and grow our student ministry while aligning with the mission and vision of River Hills Church. Position Overview River Hills Church is seeking a high-energy, relational, and self-starting Student Pastor to lead and grow a dynamic student ministry for middle and high school students. This leader will build a ministry that reaches students, equips parents, develops leaders, and creates meaningful connections both inside the church and throughout the community. Primary Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, train, and empower leaders to serve in student ministry
• Serve as the primary student leader and communicator
• Invest weekly in building relationships with students in schools, events, and community settings
• Lead weekly student gatherings and oversee all environments (teaching, worship, production)
• Organize and oversee student small groups for middle and high school
• Develop and implement discipleship, evangelism, and pastoral care processes
• Meet regularly with volunteers to evaluate and strengthen ministry effectiveness
• Recruit, lead, and develop student ministry interns
• Collaborate with church staff and contribute to overall church vision and strategy
• Engage with other ministries and churches to continually improve effectiveness Student Ministry Vision Our vision is to connect students and truth together by creating an environment where students can explore God at their own pace, grow in discipleship, and be equipped to live on mission.

This includes developing student leaders, investing relationally in students and volunteers, engaging the local community and school systems, and providing opportunities for students to serve and respond to the Gospel. What We're Looking For

• High character and integrity About the Community (Winder / Barrow County, GA) Winder and the surrounding Barrow County area is a fast-growing community in Northeast Georgia, located within driving distance of Athens and the greater Atlanta area.

The area is full of young families, strong school systems, and expanding neighborhoods, creating a significant opportunity for reaching students and families with the Gospel. The community includes 3 high schools and 6 middle schools, and the church regularly reaches students from surrounding counties as well. High school sports, local events, and community gatherings are central to life here, making it an ideal environment for a relational, externally focused student ministry to thrive.
