NTCC is a Restoration Movement church with over 50 years of ministry and a strong reputation in the Keokuk community. Known for being welcoming and family-oriented, the church has a strong presence through outreach and next gen ministries and is positioned for continued growth in discipleship and leadership.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary vision-caster and teaching pastor, clearly communicating and aligning the church around the mission of Believe, Belong, Become. Provide strategic direction by leading the development and execution of mission, vision, values, and ministry strategy, helping move the church from steady health to intentional, aligned growth. Lead, coach, and develop staff, elders, deacons, and volunteer leaders, building a healthy, collaborative, and accountable culture. Strengthen and clarify discipleship pathways, especially in adult groups, men's ministry, and spiritual formation. Build and implement systems and strategies that create clarity, structure, and effective execution across ministries. Oversee church operations and financial stewardship, ensuring responsible leadership and organizational health. Navigate both organizational challenges and relational dynamics with wisdom, clarity, and care. Maintain a strong pastoral presence, providing care, encouragement, and leadership through all seasons of ministry. Be a visible and relational presence in both the church and community, continuing NTCC's outreach and Kingdom impact. Partner closely with the eldership to ensure alignment, trust, and overall church health. Model a spiritually healthy, Christ-centered life, helping cultivate a culture of engagement, ownership, and spiritual maturity.Qualifications and Traits:
5+ years of ministry experience and 3+ years of leadership experience, including leading staff or key teams. Bachelor's degree from a Restoration Movement Bible college, or equivalent ministry experience within the Restoration Movement. Proven ability to lead teams, ministries, and key initiatives with effectiveness. Experience in core areas of ministry: preaching, leadership, discipleship, and pastoral care. Strong ability to lead with both relational intelligence and organizational clarity. Theological alignment with NTCC, including Restoration Movement doctrine. A leader who loves God, loves people, and loves the Church. Spiritually mature, leading from a healthy and growing personal relationship with Jesus. A humble, teachable, and servant-hearted leader who works well with others. A relational pastor with genuine care, empathy, and compassion. A collaborative team builder who develops people, not just programs. A clear and compelling communicator of Scripture with practical application. A steady, trustworthy presence who leads with wisdom, balance, and healthy life rhythms.Compensation & Benefits:
