Job Description

The Role:
Full-time Senior Pastor who will lead in spiritual direction and hold the responsibility as Head of Staff for our church. This individual will continue to develop Christian leadership and drive spiritual growth within our church community.
Educational Requirement:
Candidates should have completed a Master's degree from an accredited theological seminary in Biblical or Theological studies.
Ordination Requirement:
Candidates must hold their ordination in ECO or be received as an affiliate pastor by the Presbytery of the Harvest.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Spiritual Leadership Oversee and enhance the spiritual health and maturity of Lampstand Church. Nurture the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the congregation. Preach the Word of God through interpretation of scripture and exhortation. Plan and coordinate church services with worship and technology teams. Lead weekly Bible Study using the Old and New Testaments. Administer the sacraments, confirmations, weddings, and funerals. Provide mentorship for the leadership team and shepherd God s people with love and compassion. Advocate for, support, and serve the Lost Bridge Great Banquet. Administration & Oversight Serve as
Head of Staff:
providing direction, support, and encouragement to personnel. Mentor and support committees within the church and appoint chairpersons. Provide counseling and crisis intervention for members of the congregation. Oversee hospital, nursing home, and shut-in visitations. Be instrumental in outreach to church visitors and community fellowship opportunities. Moderate Session and Congregational meetings. Support existing ministries and assist leadership in setting a vision. Steward finances in alignment with the budget and facilitate capital campaigns.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Total compensation package includes: Annual Salary & Housing Allowance Pension (10% of gross effective salary) and social security offset Medical and Term Life/Disability Insurance Auto/mileage expense allowances ($2,500 vouchered) Study Leave and professional development expense allowances Annual Vacation and Study Leave
