Weekly Stipend of $75.00 Position Summary The Bi-Vocational Assistant Praise & Worship Leader is called to serve the Lord by helping lead the congregation into authentic, Spirit-led worship. This individual will assist the Senior Pastor and Assistant Pastor in cultivating a worship atmosphere that glorifies God, supports the vision of the church, and encourages spiritual growth. The Assistant Worship Leader will serve as a keyboardist, help develop the worship ministry, and mentor worship team members while balancing outside employment. Primary Responsibilities Minister unto the Lord through a life of worship, prayer, and holiness. Assist in planning and leading worship services under the direction of the Senior Pastor. Serve as the primary or supporting keyboardist during worship services and special church events. Work closely with the Senior Pastor and Assistant Pastor to ensure worship aligns with the church's vision and biblical values. Help recruit, develop, and disciple members of the praise and worship team. Schedule and lead regular worship rehearsals. Encourage unity, excellence, and spiritual maturity within the worship ministry. Maintain a Christ-like attitude and serve as a positive example to the congregation. Participate in special services, conferences, revivals, and church events as requested. Spiritual Expectations The Assistant Praise & Worship Leader is expected to: Maintain a consistent personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, Bible study, and worship. Live a lifestyle that reflects biblical holiness and integrity. Demonstrate faithfulness, humility, and a servant's heart. Support the leadership and vision of the church. Attendance Requirements The Assistant Praise & Worship Leader is expected to faithfully attend: All regular worship services Bible study and prayer services Worship rehearsals Leadership meetings as requested Special church services and events Regular attendance is expected for both ministry responsibilities and continued spiritual growth. Qualifications A growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Ability to play the keyboard proficiently. Ability to sing and lead congregational worship. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with church leadership and volunteers. A teachable spirit and willingness to receive pastoral guidance. Dependable, organized, and committed to excellence in ministry. Compensation This is a bi-vocational ministry position with a weekly stipend of $75.00. The stipend is provided as an expression of appreciation for faithful service and ministry and is not intended to reflect full-time employment. Purpose Statement The ultimate purpose of the Bi-Vocational Assistant Praise & Worship Leader is to glorify God by leading His people into heartfelt worship, supporting the pastoral leadership, and developing a worship ministry that honors Christ and advances the mission of the church.
