Job Description

Calvary Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Youth Director to lead and disciple middle school and high school students. This individual will help students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, build meaningful connections within the church community, and equip young people to live out their faith in everyday life. Responsibilities Lead and oversee youth ministry programs for middle and high school students Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, retreats, and special events Develop relationships with students and their families Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer youth leaders Teach biblical truth in an engaging and age-appropriate manner Create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for students Coordinate mission trips, service projects, and outreach opportunities Work alongside church staff and leadership to support the overall mission of the church Maintain clear communication with parents and church leadership Qualifications A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith Agreement with the church s statement of faith and values Experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to connect relationally with students and families Degree in ministry, theology, education, or related field preferred but not required Desired Characteristics Energetic and approachable Team-oriented Dependable and self-motivated Passionate about discipleship and evangelism Strong moral character and integrity
