In this vital role, the Pastor will provide spiritual leadership to the congregation by fostering a welcoming and Christ-centered environment, delivering biblically grounded and impactful sermons, offering pastoral care and support, and guiding the church in fulfilling its mission and vision. The Pastor will also cultivate meaningful relationships within the congregation and the broader community, encouraging outreach engagement, and discipleship. We seek a passionate, energetic individual eager to make a meaningful difference through faith-based service and mentorship. •On-site parsonage and utility stipend included as part of the compensation package. Responsibilities Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse audiences, fostering spiritual growth and understanding. Provide compassionate pastoral care, including bereavement support and crisis intervention, to members facing personal hardships. Lead and coordinate church services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and special events to strengthen community bonds. Offer Christian counseling and mentoring to individuals seeking spiritual guidance or facing life challenges. Organize outreach initiatives such as hospice care programs and community service projects that embody the church's mission. Administer ordinances such as baptism and communion. Manage conflict resolution within the congregation with effective conflict management and crisis management techniques to maintain harmony. Requirements Proven experience in pastoral leadership or ministry roles with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others. Demonstrated expertise in bereavement support, hospice care, Christian counseling, and crisis intervention. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills capable of engaging diverse audiences across various settings. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor staff and congregation members effectively. Skilled in event planning, conflict management, crisis management, and facilitating community outreach activities. Exceptional writing skills for sermon preparation, newsletters, reports, and educational materials. Relevant theological education or ordination recognized by a reputable faith organization is preferred. Embark on a fulfilling journey where your faith-driven leadership can truly transform lives! We are committed to supporting your growth as you nurture our community's spiritual well-being through energetic service and compassionate guidance. Make regular visits to nursing homes, sick, elderly and homebound, offering communion a minimum of two times a year. Officiate weddings, funerals, and dedication services. Make hospital visits to members/family who are hospitalized.
Pay:
$30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
