Job Description

Walnut Street Church is seeking a passionate and visionary Lead Pastor to guide our congregation into the future with energy, compassion, and clarity. As the spiritual heart of our church, the Lead Pastor will inspire growth, foster unity, and provide pastoral care that uplifts and empowers our members. The ideal candidate will possess a vibrant faith, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to service through teaching, counseling, and leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the spiritual journey of our community and support our outreach programs while leading with integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relational and approachable Gifted in accurately and effectively communicating the Scripture Visionary in their leadership Community oriented A Servant leader with high integrity
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide spiritual leadership and direction for the church through preaching, teaching, discipleship and pastoral care Lead and oversee discipleship programs for adults, develop Christian education resources, Bible studies and spiritual growth opportunities Communicate God's Word through preaching and teaching during worship services and church gatherings. Be available to provide pastoral counseling, spiritual guidance, and care to members of the church Work closely with the Elder Board, Ministry Leaders, and Staff to lead the church in fulfilling its mission and ministry Represent Walnut Street Church in the community, work with other churches and ministries as appropriate and needed

45,000-52,000

$45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
