Job Description
Southside Christian Church is a thriving congregation located in beautiful Central Kentucky. Our surrounding community is a great place to raise a family, offering: solid schools, friendly neighbors, shopping/restaurants, outdoor attractions and a rich history. We are seeking a part-time worship pastor who is gifted for a modern, relevant & engaging worship style for our multi-generational church. We currently have a talented team of vocalists with a full band who love being together & serving our church. We are seeking someone who will coordinate our existing worship & tech teams with the love of Christ and promote growth (spiritual, skill-set & # of volunteers) in our ability to lead hearts to worship. The tasks for this position will include (but are not limited to): Leading Sunday morning worship service(s) with a weekly rehearsal/practice & devotion time Leading worship for church-wide/community events Team Leader of worship team (singers, musicians, tech team) Enhance our online presence (website & social media) Pastoral care for volunteers in worship community Please send resume (including 3 references) with a video of you leading worship to seth@sccky.org
