Job Description
We are a small country church looking for a full-time bi-vocational pastor to lead, shepherd, and grow our church. We are prayerfully seeking the pastor God has chosen to lead His people in this new chapter of ministry. The church desires a biblically faithful shepherd who loves God's word, loves people, and is committed to proclaiming Christ with integrity, compassion, and conviction. Our pastor will meet the Biblical qualifications of 1 Tim 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9, will embrace the Baptist faith, and be a strong communicator and servant leader. Responsibilities include preaching and teaching God's word faithfully and accurately. Provide pastoral care including counseling, comforting, and encouraging. Lead the congregation in observing the Lord's supper and Baptism by immersion. Be devoted to prayer for the congregation and seeking God's guidance for the church. New Liberty Baptist Church service schedule is as follows: Sunday morning coffee and donuts @ 9:00am, Sunday School @ 9:45am, Sunday Morning Service @10:45am, Sunday Evening Service @6:00pm, and Wednesday Night Bible Study @ 6:00pm.
