Catholic Chaplain (Part-Time) Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services - Lawrence, MA Part-Time About the Role Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services is seeking a dedicated Catholic Chaplain to join our team on a part-time basis. As a non-for-profit Catholic healthcare organization rooted deeply in the Catholic tradition, our Director of Mission specifically requires a Catholic chaplain to guide and nurture the spiritual well-being of our residents, families, and staff. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional or someone looking to grow within clinical spiritual care while upholding and practicing within the Catholic faith.
Job Responsibilities Pastoral & Sacramental Ministry:
Provide comprehensive spiritual assessments, crisis counseling, ongoing emotional intervention, and facilitate sacramental ministry.
Worship & Liturgy:
Lead Catholic liturgical life, prepare homilies, and coordinate religious services within the community.
Grief & Bereavement Support:
Accompany families through loss by making condolence calls and participating in memorial and funeral services.
Community Advocacy:
Act as a bridge between residents and local clergy to ensure individual spiritual needs are fully respected and met.
Job Requirements:
Catholic chaplain experience required. Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or Pastoral Ministry is strongly preferred. Board Certified (NACC, APC, or ACPE) or actively working toward certification. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates preferred, but not required Why Join Us?
