Senior Pastor The ideal candidate will have a clear testimony of salvation in Jesus Christ and a passion for shepherding God's people. The Senior Pastor will serve as an elder and work with a unified leadership team of three elders and three deacons . Key Responsibilities The Senior Pastor will lead the congregation by: Preaching and teaching Scripture clearly, accurately, and in a spiritually nourishing way Providing pastoral care through counseling, visitation, and encouragement Officiating weddings, funerals, and baptisms Leading community outreach to help CGBC engage and bless our neighbors Equipping the saints to fulfill the Great Commission Serving collaboratively with the church board in unity and harmony This role is ideal for a pastor who loves people, values unity, and wants to build a thriving ministry rooted in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
