This vital role focuses on fostering spiritual growth, nurturing discipleship, and empowering members to actively participate in multiplying their faith through mentorship, teaching, and leadership development. The ideal candidate will be energized by inspiring others, guiding them through their spiritual journeys, and equipping them to serve effectively within the church and beyond. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence lives positively while working collaboratively with church leadership to advance our mission of spiritual transformation and community impact. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive discipleship programs that promote spiritual maturity across all age groups. Lead teaching sessions, Bible studies, and small group gatherings that encourage active participation and deep understanding of scripture. Provide pastoral care through bereavement support, crisis intervention, and Christian counseling to individuals facing life challenges. Mentor emerging leaders and volunteers, equipping them with the skills needed for effective ministry, including public speaking, presentation skills, and event planning. Oversee outreach initiatives aimed at multiplying discipleship efforts within the community through strategic events and initiatives. Facilitate training workshops on topics such as conflict management, crisis management, hospice care, and bereavement support to strengthen the church's support systems. Manage communication channels by writing newsletters, developing resource materials, and maintaining clear dialogue with congregation members to foster engagement and transparency. Experience Proven experience in pastoral ministry with a focus on discipleship, leadership development, or church growth initiatives. Strong background in teaching, public speaking, and presentation skills that motivate and inspire diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to provide Christian counseling, crisis intervention, and bereavement support with sensitivity and professionalism. Experience in event planning and coordinating outreach or community service projects that promote spiritual multiplication. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—that facilitate effective mentoring, conflict management, and crisis response. Familiarity with hospice care principles and mental health support strategies is preferred but not required.
