Job Description

Assistant Minister of Music Job Title:

Part-Time, one-year designated term of work
Compensation:
$15,000/year
Benefits:
This position does not qualify for health or retirement benefits Based on the scope of work, you can expect to be away from church 7 Sundays per year.

September 1, 2026
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
To accompany regular weekly adult choir rehearsals Wednesdays from 7:30pm-9:00pm September - May ( 37 regular rehearsals per year) Provide keyboard music for Sunday worship, primarily as an accompanist to the adult choir September - May ( 37 Sundays per year) Serve as the primary musician for Sunday worship in the Music Minister's absence ( 7 Sundays per year) Accompany additional 90 minute adult choir rehearsals for concerts or other special music ( 12 additional rehearsals per year) Serve as Primary musician for Maundy Thursday service ( 1 service per year) Accompany Choir for Good Friday Service ( 1 service per year) Accompany Choir for Christmas Eve 7:30pm Service ( 1 service per year) Additional Work and Compensation With prior agreement. appearances or rehearsals in excess of this job description will be compensated at the following rates: $300 per Sunday providing all service music $160 per Sundays accompanying $120 per additional rehearsal

$12,000.00 - $15,000.00 per year
