Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation PURPOSE:
The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation will help senior adults connect in meaningful ways with God, the church, the community, and with one another. This role involves direct oversight of the ministry to seniors and visitation to the church membership.
OBJECTIVES
Oversee the ministry to senior adults. Oversee the visitation of members and regular attendees of the church.

REQUIREMENTS
Be born-again and living a dedicated Christian life. Possess spiritual gifts, along with the professional and educational background adequate for the position. Be committed to the vision, mission, values, and ministry philosophy of Alexandria Covenant Church. Be licensed or ordained in ministry. Be a member at Alexandria Covenant Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oversight of the ministry to senior adults in cooperation with the senior's ministry team. Develop and oversee a visitation ministry to members and regular attendees of the church. Develop and maintain ministry budgets for specific areas of oversight on an annual basis. Participate in weekly staff meetings. Participate regularly in Sunday worship services through prayer, announcements, dedications, baptisms, and the Lord's Supper. Preach and teach God's Word periodically in Sunday morning worship services and other ministry settings. Assist the Senior Pastor in officiating funerals for members and attendees of Alexandria Covenant Church. Provide pastoral care to the congregation through prayer, encouragement, counseling, visitation, and other means necessary.
AUTHORITY
The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation will have the authority to perform duties in accordance with the job guidelines and under the direct supervision of the Senior Pastor.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation will be directly accountable to the Senior Pastor.
STANDARDS FOR PERFORMANCE
The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation should conduct themselves at all times in such a manner as set forth in the Word of God for a servant of God. The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation will accomplish their duties and responsibilities in a professional manner and should demonstrate, along with the fruit of the Spirit, excellence, integrity, loyalty, and maturity.
EVALUATION
The Pastor of Senior Adults and Visitation will be evaluated annually by the Senior Pastor based on ministry performance in accordance with their role description. .................................... Alexandria Covenant Church is seeking a full-time Executive who loves Jesus and is committed to the work and ministry of the gospel. We are a church of 1000+ regularly attending on Sunday mornings with another 300+ viewing our online services. Our church family is committed to loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus with all people. Our church offers both traditional and contemporary weekly worship services. All our ministries are bible based, gospel centered, and relationally driven and our largest outreach is children and youth. In addition, we have 14 global, 5 regional and 13 local missions' partners. Alexandria Covenant Church is debt free and operates on a 2 ½+ -million-dollar budget, but we recognize the greatest asset of our church is our people. Alexandria, MN is a lakes community (15,000+ and triples in size in the summer) located in central Minnesota. We are a summer destination for many people in and outside of Minnesota. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
