Vision No hurdles to hope No one left alone No kid without five adults on their team No inch unused Philosophy Calvary's internship program is designed to give students the opportunity to practically apply what they have learned in school alongside strong mentorship and discipleship from experienced ministry leaders who have a heart for equipping those who will lead the church into the future. Types of Internships available Kids Students Worship Production Discipleship Pastoral Care Overview Each student will establish a set of goals with their mentor/supervisor that they would like to achieve as well as be assigned a project to work on during their time serving at Calvary. Ministry leaders will consistently meet 1:1 with interns providing opportunities for students to grow, challenge themselves and experience ministry in a way that will allow them to think creatively, explore ministry and develop their leadership skills. Student Expectations Continued, intentional spiritual development with spiritual mentor Hard-working, humble, dependable and teachable Contribute to the experience with thoughtful discourse and confidence Average 10 hours per week Be creative, be open to the work of the Spirit, be engaged and have fun! Calvary should be your church home during your internship Outcomes Growth in your personal relationship with Jesus Gain practical ministry/technical experience in desired career path Assistance completing school internship requirements Work on a ministry specific project due at the completion of their internship Learn Calvary's Vision Culture Model as a foundational tool internship in ministry Network with other experienced ministry leaders Internship Duration Options Semester Year-long Summer Other Compensation Monthly stipend of $700 paid on or about the last day of the month Future Employment While we are unable to guarantee future employment at Calvary, interns who exceed expectations during their internship experience, will be shared among our network of churches in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area. Calvary High Level Profile Founded in 1946, Calvary is located five miles from downtown Minneapolis and has a rich history of local and global mission, excellence in worship and a passion for reaching the lost. Calvary is a multi-campus church with physical campuses in Golden Valley and Minnetonka, MN. Our primary emphasis is in modern worship which is styled similar to Hosanna, Eagle Brook and River Valley. We have 22 staff members, run four childcare operations and have over 210,000 square feet in our facilities.
