We are seeking a part-time Youth Minister to help lead, guide, and champion our youth (6th-12th grade) as they navigate their faith journey. Discipleship & Teaching:
Lead and oversee the educational side of the youth ministry (Sunday School, small groups, and other times). You will serve as the primary teacher for our youth on Wednesday nights. •
Events & Fellowship:
Plan, organize, and execute engaging regular activities, including monthly events, camps, retreats, outreach, and Bible studies. •
Team Leadership:
Counsel with church leadership to recruit, enlist, and equip adult volunteers who love working with students. • Partnering with
Parents:
Maintain clear, regular communication with parents and volunteers regarding upcoming events, curriculum, and youth news. •
Stewardship & Collaboration:
Propose and manage a yearly youth budget and serve as an active, collaborative member of our Ministry Coordination Team. Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications): •
A Committed Disciple:
A born-again believer with a clear personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Your life should reflect a priority on your personal relationship with God, spouse, and family.•
A Clear Calling:
Someone with an open, authentic calling to serve youth and walk with them through these critical developmental years. •
Doctrinal Alignment:
Full agreement with and adherence to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. •
An Engaged Member:
A commitment to attend weekly worship services and actively participate in the life of our church community. •
Experience:
Prior experience in youth ministry is a plus, but it is not required. We are happy to mentor and walk alongside someone stepping into their first ministry role! •
