First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor. Batesville, located in North Mississippi, is right off I-55 and is one hour South of Memphis. FBC Batesville was established in 1843. We are a member of the Panola County Baptist Association, The Southern Baptist Convention and we abide by the Baptist Faith and Message. FBC Batesville is committed to glorifying God through worship, discipleship, evangelism, and service. We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God. We seek a shepherd who will faithfully preach and teach God's Word; lead our congregation with humility; equip and encourage believers to grow in their faith and ministry to accomplish the task of Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8, reaching Panola County and the world for Christ. This position is full-time and comes with health insurance and retirement. Salary package will be based on education and experience. A Masters of Divinity or higher is preferred.
