About Coast City Church Coast City Church is a growing, non-denominational church in Biloxi, Mississippi with a simple mission: to introduce anyone and everyone to Jesus and His life-changing message. We launched in April 2025 and meet every Sunday at The Sanctuary, just a block from the Coast. We're passionate about creating an authentic environment where people can encounter Jesus, build community, and grow in their faith. Position Overview We're seeking a Worship Leader who loves Jesus, connects well with people, and can help lead our church in meaningful worship each Sunday. This person will work alongside the Lead Pastor and ministry team to create worship experiences that are engaging, Christ-centered, and welcoming to people from all backgrounds. This role is ideal for someone who is gifted musically but understands that worship leadership is about more than music: it's about helping people respond to God. Responsibilities Lead worship during Sunday services Plan worship sets that support the message and overall service flow Recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteer musicians and vocalists Lead rehearsals and prepare team members for services Coordinate with the Lead Pastor regarding service planning Help cultivate a culture of worship, excellence, and authenticity Assist with special services and church events throughout the year Communicate clearly with team members regarding schedules and expectations Qualifications Required A growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ Experience leading worship in a church setting Ability to sing and lead confidently from an instrument (instrument optional) Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, organized, and teachable Alignment with the mission and values of Coast City Church Preferred Experience building and leading volunteer teams Familiarity with Planning Center and church technology Ability to lead both contemporary worship and stripped-down acoustic sets Additional musical abilities (keys, arranging, vocal directing, etc.) What We're Looking For Someone who: Loves Jesus more than the platform Values authenticity over performance Can connect with both lifelong believers and people who are new to church Enjoys building relationships and investing in volunteers Is excited about helping shape the worship culture of a young and growing church Schedule Sunday Morning Service (10:30 AM) Weekly rehearsal (schedule determined with team) Occasional special events and gatherings To Apply Please submit: Resume Brief testimony and ministry background Links to videos of you leading worship (if available) Any social media or website links that showcase your ministry experience We'd love to hear your story and learn how God has used worship in your life and ministry.
