To know Jesus and to make Him known.Mission:
For people to know Jesus, we need to help them transform the way that they think; in order to help them transform the way that they live. Romans 12:2 teaches us: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." We accomplish in three main ways- Connect, Grow, and Serve.
- Serving inside the church walls
- Serving outside the church walls Butte, Montana Butte is a tight-knit, blue collar community of approximately 36,000 people

- And leading people; especially leaders. Journey Church's Family Life Pastor Roles and Responsibilities The roles and responsibilities of the Family Life Pastor will focus on providing leadership and oversight in two main areas
- Family Life Programs and Executive Departments.
- Each program will be led by its own
Director:
a. Life Groups- Small groups that are focused on both building community and facilitating Biblical literacy. b. Study Groups
- Short term classes (typically 8-weeks) that are topical.
For example:
parenting, marriage, specific books of the Bible, etc. c. "Next Gen" Ministries- Provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for kids and teens to grow in their relationship with Jesus and understanding of the Bible on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. i. Kids Ministries ii. Journey Youth d. Men's Ministry e. Women's Ministry f. Singles Ministry (future) g. Seniors (future) 2. Executive Departments
- Each department will be led by its own
Director:
a. Custodial b. Finance c. Grounds and Maintenance d. Security/Safety The Family Life Pastor is responsible to do the following for eachProgram/Department:
1. Disciple, mentor, and provide oversight and leadership to each Director a. This will include regular one-on-one meetings with each Director b. This will include recruiting replacement Directors, when there is a vacancy 2. Disciple each Director to be "building a bench" (and to be discipling that bench) 3. Provide organizational oversight and leadership in such areas as: a. Budgetary oversight b. Policy and regulatory compliance oversight c. Facility usage oversight d. Volunteer recruitment and development 4. Confirm that each Program/Department has a Purpose, Mission, and Vision document and assure that each Program's/Department's Purpose, Mission, and Vision document: a. Is successfully being executed b. Aligns with Journey Church's overall Purpose, Mission, and Vision document 5. Delegate tasks to each Director that are necessary to accomplish the Program's/Department's Purpose, Mission, and Vision 6.Hold each Director accountable for:
a. The success of the Program/Department as determined by the Purpose, Mission, and Vision b. The timely execution of all tasks c. Understandings:
1. Candidate understands that they and their family can live in and/or adapt to harsh, Montana winters. 2. Candidate understands that they and their family can live in and/or adapt to living in a midsize, rural town. We are not a "big" city, it is a 1-hour drive to the nearest Costco.Mandatory Prior Experience:
1. Candidate must be Ordained with the Assemblies of God. 2. Candidate must have completed a 4-year college degree; in ministry preferred but not required. 3. Candidate can show evidence of preaching regularly and consistently to a variety of age groups. Journey Church's Family Life Pastor Compensation Annual Salary Range- $52,000
