Job Description Full Time Priest Associate for The Cathedral of All Souls in Asheville, N.C. The Cathedral of All Souls, the historic center of Biltmore Village in Asheville, N.C., and the cathedral of the Diocese of Western North Carolina, is seeking a Priest Associate with a special focus on Children's Ministry. We are looking for a priest who is a dynamic pastor for our children and their families. Our Parents' Council provides outstanding support for this ministry and for the priest who leads it. All Souls is currently worshiping on Asheville's west side as we rebuild the Cathedral campus following flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. This Associate will play a significant role in helping to create and shape our spaces for youth and children in Biltmore Village. Responsibilities of the

Priest Associate:

Worship:

Together with the Canon Precentor and ordained staff, leads all aspects of Sunday worship, as well as other major Holy Days of the Church

Administration:

Participates in weekly Staff meetings, as well as monthly Vestry Meetings Works closely with staff in creating worship, fellowship, formation, etc. Meets with the Parents Council to plan and execute the calendar of activities for our EYC.

Pastoral:

Makes hospital, in-home, phone, or other visits Is accessible for parishioners and participate in the on-call rotation and support our parents' efforts in the Christian formation of their children. Type of Commitment Full Time Does this job pay? Yes
