Pastor Position - Regular Baptist Church of Summerhill Cortland, New York Area About Us Regular Baptist Church of Summerhill, located just outside Cortland, is a loving, Christ-centered congregation rooted in faith, family, and tradition. We are prayerfully seeking a pastor who is called by God to shepherd our country church and serve our surrounding community. Position Overview This is a part-time pastoral role for a servant leader who is passionate about preaching the Word, caring for people, and guiding a small church in spiritual and growth and outreach to . Key Responsibilities Preach biblically sound, Spirit-led sermons during Sunday morning worship and other scheduled services Lead adult Sunday school following Sunday morning service Provide pastoral care, including hospital visitation, counseling, and member support Encourage and lead spiritual growth and discipleship within the congregation Collaborate with deacons and church leadership on vision, direction, and decision-making Promote outreach and evangelism within the local community Lead a midweek Bible study and prayer service Qualifications A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ Strong commitment to the authority and teaching of Scripture Pastoral ministry experience preferred, but not required Seminary training is a plus A genuine calling and heart for small church and rural ministry Compensation This is a part-time position with a salary between $24,000 - $26,000 annually .
