  • Full-time, Contract Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to lead and nurture our faith community.
In this vital role, you will provide spiritual guidance, deliver bold, and unapologetically the message given to you by God. As well as inspiring sermons, and fostering a welcoming environment that encourages spiritual growth and community engagement. Your leadership will inspire hope, compassion, and faith among congregation members and visitors while supporting their emotional and spiritual well-being through various pastoral duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate heart, and a proactive approach to ministry that energizes our church family. Responsibilities Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse audiences, fostering spiritual growth and understanding. Provide bereavement support and Christian counseling to individuals and families navigating grief, loss, or personal crises. Lead some but not all prayer sessions, Bible studies, and religious events to strengthen community bonds and deepen faith practices. Offer crisis intervention and conflict management when sensitive situations arise within the congregation or community. Plan and coordinate outreach programs, community service projects, and special events that promote church involvement and social responsibility. Mentor church members of all ages, encouraging their spiritual development through personalized guidance and support. Maintain effective communication with congregation members through written correspondence, announcements, and digital platforms to keep everyone informed and engaged. Proven experience in pastoral ministry or a related religious leadership role within a Christian community. Strong public speaking abilities with excellent presentation skills to inspire and motivate diverse audiences. Demonstrated expertise in bereavement support, hospice care, crisis intervention, and Christian counseling. Skilled in event planning, conflict management, crisis management, and mentoring activities that foster community cohesion. Exceptional writing skills for sermons, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials. Leadership qualities that promote teamwork, empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution within the church environment. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining confidentiality and compassion.
