- $400 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Choral worship music conducting Music Team leadership Bachelor's degree Managing music teams Conflict management Musical liturgical knowledge Bachelor of Music Teaching Vocal training Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description Position Summary The Minister of Music is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the congregation into meaningful praise and worship through music while developing a Christ-centered music ministry that supports the vision, mission, and doctrine of the church.
- Biblical A committed follower of Jesus Christ and spiritually mature Lives a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles Is faithful in church attendance and service Supports the church with time, talents, and resources Supports the vision of the pastor Qualifications
- Educational and Skills Bachelor's degree in music or related field (preferred) At least 3 years of leadership experience Strong relational skills and enthusiastic attitude Conflict management competencies Proficient understanding of technology in worship Qualifications
- Musical (Must demonstrate proficiency in the following) Piano or keyboard (preferred) Vocal and instrumental direction Conducting and leading choir/or instrumental groups Reading music and/or by hearing Teaching music
