Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time or Bi-Vocational/Volunteer Pastor to serve our faith community with passion, compassion, and leadership. This vital role offers an opportunity to inspire, guide, and support individuals through spiritual growth, grief, and life challenges. As a P/T or BI/VO Pastor, you will bring energy and motivation to our congregation, fostering a welcoming environment where faith and community flourish. Your influence will help uplift lives through meaningful teaching, counseling, and outreach initiatives aligned with Christian principles. Responsibilities Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to congregation members experiencing grief, crisis, or personal challenges. Lead and facilitate worship services, prayer meetings, and special events that foster community engagement and spiritual development. Offer bereavement support by guiding families through grief processes with sensitivity and compassion. Deliver engaging sermons and presentations that communicate biblical truths clearly and inspiringly. Conduct Christian counseling sessions focused on emotional healing, crisis intervention, and mentoring individuals in their faith journey. Plan and organize outreach events, seminars, or workshops that promote spiritual growth and community involvement. Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that address the spiritual needs of diverse groups within the congregation. Requirements Proven experience in pastoral ministry, teaching, or related roles within a Christian setting. Strong public speaking and presentation skills capable of inspiring diverse audiences. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively connect with individuals and groups. Knowledge of bereavement support techniques, hospice care principles, and crisis intervention strategies. Ability to manage conflicts with sensitivity while maintaining a Christ-centered approach. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring others in their faith journey. Skills in event planning, crisis management, Christian counseling, and conflict resolution are highly desirable. Pay:
$30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
