Hospice Chaplain (PRN) Bend, OR $30.00 per hour PRN / As Needed Make a Meaningful Difference with Signature Hospice Signature Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families navigating end-of-life care. This role is ideal for someone called to serve others with empathy, dignity, and respect for diverse beliefs and traditions. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary hospice team, you'll help patients find comfort, peace, and connection during life's most important moments. What You'll Do Provide spiritual assessments and ongoing spiritual care to hospice patients and families. Support patients and loved ones through illness, grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions. Collaborate with nurses, social workers, physicians, and other hospice team members. Coordinate with community clergy and faith leaders to meet patient needs. Participate in care planning meetings and patient conferences. Document visits and maintain accurate records. Conduct memorial or funeral services upon request. Help educate staff and volunteers on spiritual care and hospice philosophy. What We're Looking For ✔ Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (MDiv, BD, or equivalent). ✔ Experience supporting individuals and families through grief, loss, or serious illness. ✔ Hospice, healthcare chaplaincy, or pastoral care experience preferred. ✔ Ability to work respectfully within diverse faith traditions and cultures. ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills. ✔ Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
