Calvary Chapel Worship Center (CCWC) is committed to worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). CCWC is currently recruiting to fill the full-time position of an Associate Pastor and is looking for a candidate who has the following qualifications: Spiritual Maturity A sincere, mature faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A true love for God and His people as evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit, a love for God's Word, and a heart of worship. Is self-motivated and driven to expand the ministry of CCWC to its full potential. Education/Work Experience Bachelor's degree (preferred) from an accredited Bible College or Seminary. Equivalent pastoral experience will be considered. Teaching/Communication An effective communicator (oral and written) in Spanish and English. A dynamic expository teacher of the Bible, able to teach through the entire counsel of God's Word, chapter by chapter, verse by verse in Spanish and in English. Pastoral Leadership/Administration Proven pastoral leadership and is able to pioneer, strengthen, and shepherd a Spanish-speaking congregation. An accomplished Administrator who is able to recruit, organize, and manage employees and volunteers so that weekly services and special events run smoothly from start to finish. A gifted Project Manager who is able to recruit volunteers and vet contractors so that church projects are managed and completed in a timely, cost-effective manner. Is proficient in using Planning Center to organize and manage church events. is able to resolve conflicts and bring godly instruction with grace and truth. Worship Leader/Musician (Preferred) A skilled musician who is proficient at playing the acoustic guitar while vocally leading contemporary, God-centered worship songs in Spanish and English. Has a working knowledge of music theory and able is to instruct worship team members in music theory as needed. Video Editing (Preferred) Is knowledgeable in video editing and is able to edit videos and post finished products to CCWC's social media platforms. Additional Qualifications Agrees with Calvary Chapel's Statement of Faith and Calvary Chapel Distinctives. Able to take instruction/direction from the Senior Pastor and the Elder Board of CCWC. Will participate in and bring a positive contribution to weekly staff meetings. Will coordinate with other ministry teams for the overall benefit of the church family. Compensation packages are negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
