Part-Time Worship Leader Faith Community Church 3515 Edgmont Ave, Brookhaven, PA 19015 faithcc.info We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader for our church. As a Worship Leader, you will play a vital role in leading and guiding our congregation in worship through music and song. Your ability to inspire and engage others will create a meaningful worship experience for our community and help us fulfill our mission to "grow up in Christ and grow out into the world." Faith Community Church is a nondenominational, Christ-centered church of 90 weekly worshipers situated between Chester and Media in Brookhaven, PA. Worship Ministry Description Lead corporate worship each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM adhering to FCC's Worship Philosophy (applicants will be emailed our Worship Philosophy). Communicate weekly with the Pastor to incorporate additional service elements such as Communion or testimonies. Schedule rehearsals, singers, musicians, and service elements using FCC's PlanningCenter.com account. Conduct a weekly rehearsal the hour or two before the Sunday worship service. Leadership Style Exhibit participatory leadership encouraging an interdependent team. Evidencing a shepherd's heart for people characterized by humility, grace, and love. Demonstrate a teachable, team-player attitude. Philosophy of Ministry Focused on the heart as the root of behavior and faith Dependent upon the Spirit's application of the Word of God Balancing cultural relevancy that is intelligible to the world but with substantive discipleship to the believer. Theological Convictions Agreement with FCC's doctrine (see faithcc.info/beliefs). Belief in traditional, biblical sexual ethics while demonstrating Christlike love (see FCC Family Statement). Agreement with the complementarian position regarding roles of men and women in the church (see FCC Family Statement). Accountability Demonstrate mature Christian character. Be directly accountable to the Pastor as a close team partner. Experience Bible education preferred from a conservative Christian school or university but not required. Experience leading corporate church worship and team members. Guitar or keyboard and vocal proficiency.
