This vital role involves cultivating a vibrant musical environment that enhances spiritual growth, fosters community engagement, and encourages participation across all age groups. The Music Minister will serve as a spiritual leader, mentor, and conductor, guiding the musical expression of our faith community with energy, creativity, and clarity. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to impact lives through inspiring worship experiences and to develop the musical talents of others within the church family. Duties Lead weekly worship services by selecting appropriate music that aligns with the message and enhances congregational participation Coordinate and rehearse with choir members, instrumentalists, and other musical volunteers to ensure cohesive performances Develop and implement music programs for special events such as holidays, baptisms, weddings, and community outreach initiatives Mentor and nurture musicians of all skill levels, encouraging growth in their musical abilities and spiritual journey Collaborate closely with pastors and ministry leaders to plan worship services that reflect theological themes and church priorities Oversee the maintenance of musical instruments, sound equipment, and related resources to ensure quality sound production Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes diverse musical styles and encourages active participation from the congregation Qualifications Proven experience in leading church or community music programs with a strong understanding of worship music styles Demonstrated leadership skills capable of inspiring teams, managing rehearsals, and coordinating performances Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members Strong teaching ability to mentor musicians at various skill levels while fostering a love for worship through music Knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and instrumental arrangements is preferred Ability to adapt quickly to different musical genres and incorporate contemporary or traditional styles as needed A heartfelt commitment to spiritual growth, service excellence, and fostering a welcoming worship environment Join us in creating uplifting worship experiences that resonate deeply within our community!
