Job Description

Rockville Christian Fellowship - Honey Brook, Pennsylvania Rockville Christian Fellowship (RCF) is prayerfully seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to partner with our elders in shepherding our church family and leading us into the next season of ministry. RCF is an Evangelical, Anabaptist congregation with an average Sunday attendance of approximately 90. We are committed to glorifying God, faithfully upholding Scripture, and living out our mission: to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; to help one another grow in relationship with Him and with His Body; to equip the church for works of ministry; and to send workers into the world to advance God s Kingdom until Christ returns. We are seeking a pastor who is unwavering in biblical conviction while embodying a gracious, compassionate, and Spirit-led posture-someone who speaks the truth in love, demonstrates Christlike humility, and leads with discernment, gentleness, and integrity. Desired Qualities Demonstrates strong spiritual leadership with the desire to seek and discern God s vision and direction for Rockville Christian Fellowship. Models Christlike servant leadership-prioritizing people, relationships, and spiritual growth above programs or platforms. Relational, approachable, and able to engage comfortably with people of all ages and backgrounds, fostering unity and connection throughout the church. Deeply committed to discipleship, equipping believers to grow in faith, character, and spiritual maturity. Passionate about community engagement, with an awareness of cultural context and a heart for outreach and evangelism. Exhibits a teachable and discerning spirit, rooted in Scripture and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of pastoral ministry experience in a church or equivalent ministry setting. Alignment with and willingness to uphold the AMEC Doctrinal Statement. Clearly meets the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership as outlined in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3. Demonstrated ability to provide pastoral care with compassion, empathy, and discernment to individuals and families. Proven skill in developing discipleship pathways, mentoring emerging leaders, and nurturing spiritual growth within the congregation. Strong preaching and teaching gifts, with clear, engaging, and biblically sound communication. Proven capacity to lead and inspire a congregation through relational leadership, vision casting, and effective team collaboration. Position Details Full-time salaried position commensurate with experience.
