Job Description

Overview We are looking for a Worship Leader and a Keyboard Player. This position requires a passionate individual who can effectively educate and communicate the message of faith through song, while fostering an environment of worship that encourages participation and spiritual growth. The keyboard player will work closely with church leadership to develop a dynamic worship experience that aligns with the church's mission and vision. Responsibilities Lead worship services by selecting appropriate music and coordinating the flow of the service. Educate the congregation on the significance of worship and the songs being sung. Communicate effectively with team members, volunteers, and congregants to ensure a cohesive worship experience. Mentor and develop musicians and vocalists within the worship team, providing guidance and support for their growth. Collaborate with church leadership to plan special services, events, and seasonal worship experiences. Organize rehearsals for the worship team, ensuring all members are prepared for services. Stay current with contemporary worship trends and music to keep the worship experience fresh and engaging. Qualifications Proven experience in leading worship in a church or similar setting. Strong musical skills, including proficiency in playing an instrument (piano or guitar preferred) and vocal abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring others in a musical or spiritual context. A deep understanding of Christian theology and an ability to integrate it into worship practices. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the church community. This role is essential for cultivating a vibrant worship atmosphere that uplifts and inspires our congregation.
