Job Description

The Missouri United Methodist Foundation is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven leader to serve as the Director of Clergy & Church Financial Ministry (C2FM). This role blends financial education, coaching, ministry leadership, and program development to support clergy and congregations across Missouri. Founded through a Lilly Endowment grant, C2FM has helped more than 170 clergy members strengthen their financial well-being and professional effectiveness. We are now looking for a visionary leader to guide the next chapter of this impactful ministry. Columbia, MO (Hybrid/Remote Considered)
Salary:
$75,000-$85,000 +

Full-Time What You'll Do
  • Design and lead educational programs focused on personal finance, stewardship, and church financial management.
  • Provide one-on-one financial coaching and guidance for clergy.
  • Review and help administer clergy financial assistance programs.
  • Partner with Foundation leadership, advisory committees, and stakeholders to expand ministry impact.
  • Prepare reports and communicate program outcomes to leadership and supporters.
  • Build strong relationships with clergy, church leaders, and congregations throughout Missouri. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of personal finance, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Experience in financial advising, banking, accounting, business, law, coaching, or related fields.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and professional discretion.
  • Appreciation for faith-based organizations; familiarity with The United Methodist Church, clergy tax and local church finances will be highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Missouri. Why Join Us?
