About the
Role:
The Worship Director is responsible for leading Crowfield Baptist Church in planning, conducting, and promoting the church's music and worship ministries and providing meaningful worship experiences.
Qualifications:
1. Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced in character, conduct, and leadership. 2. Alignment with Crowfield Baptist Church mission, vision, and the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). 3. Strong vocal and musical leadership skills. 4. Education and/or experience in music, church music, and worship leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and give directional leadership to the music ministry of the church in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and church staff. 2. Lead worship services with humble presence, musical excellence, and theological depth. 3. Plan and execute Sunday services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor, including service flow, song selection, Scripture readings, prayers, transitions, media, and production needs. 4. Introduce congregational songs that are musically rich, theologically deep, and Christ-centered; steward a healthy song diet across seasons of the church year. 5. Lead and develop across styles (contemporary songs and historic hymns/psalms) with congregational singing as the central focus. 6. Recruit, encourage, train, and develop music ministry support staff, worship team, choir, media team, and additional volunteers. 7. Lead in long-term worship ministry planning, annual worship and media budget preparation, and seasonal music ministry event planning.
